In-Office Counseling Services
Special notes: Please know that ALL of our therapists can see clients who have coverage with the MAJOR health insurers in Central Wisconsin including Aspirus, Security Health Plan, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care, and UMR among some others. However, some smaller insurance companies may only allow you to see Steve Johnson. Please contact us to make sure that your insurance works with the therapist you have chosen, if desired, or you can call your insurance company on your own (the best option). If you are a Badgercare / Medicaid client referred directly to Steve Johnson feel free to reach out to him to ask if he has space for you. However, our Resident Therapists and Interns provide the most services to Badgercare clients.
- Adult Initial Counseling Session
  The first session for any adult - ages 18 and up.
- Child Initial Counseling Session
  The first session for any child from the age of 17 down to age 5.
- Individual Counseling Session
  A typical counseling session for any person.
- Couples Counseling Session
  Conjoint counseling session with spouse or significant other.
- Family Counseling Session
  Several family members together for a counseling session.
- Extended Counseling Session
  For use when extra time is necessary for covering any counseling concerns.
- Brief Counseling Session
  A short counseling session to review general updates only.
- Self Pay Session - with a Non-Resident therapist $210
  Choose this service if you do not have insurance coverage to use and will be paying the fee for service out of pocket.
TeleMental Health Services
Distance based services that may have the same fees as other sessions. Some accommodations can be made for clients without insurance coverage.
- Phone Consultation
  A prearranged time to speak directly to your therapist for 45 minutes.
- Video Consultation
  Online 50 minute session using "8x8" business services to connect with clients who want to be seen outside of the main office.
Other Counseling Services

- Premarital Session $100
  Three to six sessions will be needed to complete the process.
- Comprehensive Assessment Service $650
  Seven assessments interpreted over two sessions. This price is for all seven tests given to a married couple. A third review session is possible for an additional fee, too. The price will decrease to $450 if the service is for a single person.
- On-Site Presentation $350
  Fee covers preparation, generally one hour on site for presentation, and travel time. Travel expenses are additional, if necessary and applicable.
